Red Line Challenge
Welcome to the EpicSessions.tv Red Line Challenge where the world's top athletes will compete to push the limits of their equipment and themselves in a wide variety of action sports. Inspired by the unique 'jumpoff' format run in 2010 at Ho'okipa Beach, Maui, the Redline series of events sets out to explore all limits as it travels the globe to see just how fast and far these athletes can go.
Utilizing digital recording equipment that not only captures the rider's sessions on live video, but centers its judging around the use of state of the art 3D motion recording technology, the physics of each sport is at the heart of the Red Line Challenge. We'll be measuring metrics such as speed, jump heights,
rotational velocity, G-loading on impacts, acceleration and more. We'll be measuring not only the forces on the riders, but also their gear - and we'll
be broadcasting it all live at EpicSessions.tv.
The Red Line Challenge will feature explosive sports like windsurfing, snowboarding, kitesurfing, skate, BMX and more. Professional and amateur riders will face off in winner take all challenges at top locations around the globe. Viewers can interact with chat as well as online voting, where they can get in on the action to win cash and prizes from our sponsors.
You won't miss a moment of the action with our REAL TIME BROADCASTING team at each location, who will live stream video of the action in HD from multiple angles. You will also see near instant rider performance results via wireless, 3D motion sensing technology worn by the competitors. A constantly updating leaderboard and rider display map will show who's in the lead and by exactly how much. You'll know how high they're jumping, how fast they're going, how hard they're crashing. No more waiting after the heat or event for the results. You and the rest of the world will know immediately.
So will the riders.
